The Homestead is a late nineteenth century traditional home perfect for your wedding night.
As you stroll through the landscaped gardens you will discover endless backdrops including the fountains, heritage barn, beautiful countryside views and many private ceremonial sanctuaries that are the perfect place for you to say I do.

Burnham Estate is home to five beautifully manicured garden ceremony spaces, each thoughtfully designed to bring your dream wedding vision to life. Set across our picturesque 45-acre countryside estate, every location offers its own unique atmosphere — from timeless romance to modern elegance.
Exchange vows beneath the contemporary open-air Peppercorn Chapel, celebrate amongst the rustic charm of The Heritage Barn, originally built in the 1860s, or take in the sweeping countryside backdrop at The Valley Views — an intimate ceremony space overlooking rolling green fields.
For couples seeking a more secluded setting, The Secret Garden offers a private and romantic escape, surrounded by lush hedges, tranquil fountains, and flourishing gardens. Meanwhile, the recently redesigned Palm Garden blends indoor-outdoor luxury with a stylish, black-framed clear marquee, allowing uninterrupted views of the palm trees while providing a beautiful weather-proof option for every season.

Croquet Lawn
The Croquet Lawn and Cocktail Lounge is the ideal space for your guests to enjoy drinks and canapés between the formalities of your ceremony and reception. Set the scene with lawn games, as your guests relax amongst our casual outdoor furniture also inclusive within the wedding collection.

The Garden Marquee features two striking clear walls that beautifully blend the indoors with the surrounding gardens, creating a light-filled reception space with stunning natural views. Guests dine beneath sparkling festoon lighting and four elegant chandeliers, while climate-controlled comfort ensures a beautiful experience in every season.

To personalise your reception, choose from round tables, long rectangular tables, or a combination of both, paired with your choice of black or white bentwood chairs — creating a space that feels uniquely yours from the very first toast to the final dance.
Accomodation
The Burnham Estate Homestead was one of the earliest built on Cawdor Road in Camden by the Wheeler family in the late 1880’s. The charming heritage Homestead is perfect for you to celebrate the weekend in style.

The Homestead is yours on your wedding night as part of our Wedding Package for either the bride or groom (or both!) to get ready in with their wedding party.

The Homestead boasts a luxurious preparation space with multiple stations for hair and make-up preparation that will make you feel like you are in your own salon.
