Clare & Cameron in the Secret Garden tunnel path

The Day

Clare & Cameron started their planning with only 7 months before their big day. They were so relaxed about their wedding, wanting a fun garden wedding, out in the sun surrounded by trees. Clare & Cameron's wedding was the last before COVID lockdown commenced in 2020, and in the week prior restrictions were changing almost hourly and as we tried to keep up, the plans we had continued to change.

Their day went ahead with the sun shining down on them. They chose the Secret Garden for their ceremony, Clare entering by the hidden pathway, arched by the hedges as the guests awaited her grand entrance. Cameron awaited his beautiful bride at the end of aisle, in front of a stunning white themed floor piece by Porter & Hudson. Smooth tunes played by The Baker Boys were the playlist for their ceremony, all the way through to the end of the reception.

Their reception followed with relaxed canapés on the lawn, drinks flowing and fun lawn games played. The bridal party escaped to get their stunning photo's around the gorgeous estate by Fortunate Fellow. With the limit on guest numbers inside, we set an indoor outdoor reception, opening the sides of the marquee for a free flowing vibe. Catered by the talented Chef & I Catering, the guests were raving about the menu!

Ending the night with a sparkler farewell exit, and a romantic kiss before waving goodbye to their guests to spend their first night in the heritage Burnham Grove Estate homestead.

The Style

Styling & florals were created by Porter & Hudson with a white, blush pinks & greenery vibe for a clean, crisp and elegant look.

  • Ceremony - White rose petals created a beautiful aisle for Clare to walk down between the white chairs, leading to a lush floor piece of greenery and pops of white and pink blooms.

  • The Floor Plan - With the changes in the days prior, a whole new floor plan was created with long tables inside the marquee, leading out to round tables on the lawn.

  • The Centrepieces - White linen, white florals and white chairs were the perfect base for the beautiful floral centrepieces amongst the twinkling candlelight.

The dress, the flowers, the day and the perfect couple. Who could ask for anything more?!
